Special Program in Journalism Coordinator Joan T. Castillo was adjudged as the Outstanding School Paper Adviser of Tarlac Province on October 6.

Castillo is also an adviser of The Melting Pot, the official student publication of Tarlac National High School (TNHS) – Main and has trained numerous decorated student-journalists.

“I am here, recognized, not just because of my sole efforts but due to the help, understanding and love of many,” Castillo stated in her Facebook post.
​
She also placed as the 9th Outstanding School Paper Adviser in Central Luzon and is currently guiding the delegates of TNHS - Main in the upcoming National Schools Press Conference 2019 on Feb. 28 – Jan. 1.
