Eighty seven percent of Special Program in Journalism students use Google in studying, this is shown by the survey entitled "Applications that Help SPJians in Studying" conducted by Grade 10-Olivine on Dec. 7.

"I picked Google because it is very convenient and helpful, it also helps me a lot in gathering information," Camille Anne E. Baul (Grade 10-Quartz) said.

Merriam Webster ranked as the second most used application in studying with sixty-seven percent.

"Merriam Webster helps me to improve my vocabulary, which is important in Journalism," Vincent Andrei (Grade 9-Calcium) explained.

Other applications that SPJians use in studying were Microsoft Office with twenty-eight percent and Cyberlink PowerDirector with seventeen percent.
